Once you have created your digital/e-gift or physical gift cards, use talech Register to sell them in your store.

Selling a physical gift card in store

  1. Log in to the talech app and navigate to Register. 
  2. Add a gift card product to an open order.

  • If adding a gift card with a variable amount, specify the amount of the gift card and select Save.

  1. Select Pay.  
  2. Select the payment type and select Pay to process the transaction.

  1. A new screen appears that gives the option to swipe, scan, or manually enter the physical gift card number. You must have equipment to swipe the gift card in order to use this option.

  1. Once you have swiped, scanned, or manually entered the gift card number, select Activate. 
  2. A screen appears that confirms the card has been activated. Select to print this confirmation or skip it.

Selling a digital/e-gift gift card in store 

  1. Follow steps 1-4 of Selling a physical gift card above.  
  2. On the Activate Gift Card screen, select Send Digital Card.

  1. On the next screen, input the recipient's email address, the sender's name, and any message that the customer may want. 
  2. Select Send Digital Card.

  1.  A screen appears that confirms the card has been sent. Print this confirmation for the customer or skip it.
